Welcome to the Ocean Ridge Garden Club!
Since 1966, the Ocean Ridge Garden Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been bringing together neighbors who share a passion for gardening, beautification, environmental stewardship, and community service. Our mission is to inspire and educate members and the public through gardening, horticulture, floral design, garden-related art, conservation, civic outreach, and environmental awareness while fostering a lifelong appreciation for nature and the world around us. We are proud members of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC).
We meet on the second Tuesday evening of each month at 6:00 p.m., from October through May. Through our annual fundraiser, we support community beautification projects throughout Ocean Ridge and provide educational assistance through scholarships and grants that align with our mission. In 2024, we proudly sponsored 11 campers to attend Camp Wekiva, an FFGC environmental education camp dedicated to inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders.
Membership is open to Ocean Ridge residents through sponsorship. Prospective members are invited to attend a meeting, after which their application is reviewed by the Executive Committee. Club leadership includes the President, Vice President of Programming, Corresponding Secretary, Publicity Secretary, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, and Immediate Past President.
One of the best parts of being a member is getting involved! Our club offers a variety of committees and volunteer opportunities that help make our programs and projects successful. Members are encouraged to participate in or volunteer for at least three events each season. Whether you enjoy gardening, organizing events, beautification projects, education, or community outreach, there's truly something for everyone.
If you're new to the area or don't yet know a current member, we'd love to hear from you! Simply complete the form below, and our Membership Chair will reach out to welcome you and answer any questions. You can also contact us directly at info@oceanridgegardenclub.org.
