Recent Activities
ORGC sponsored 9 area elementary school-aged children who attended 2022 FFGC Camp Wekiva. In addition to scholarships covering camp fees, transportation and supplies were provided by ORGC members.
Who We Are
ORGC members meet monthly during the fall-thru-spring season to share their interests in flowers and plants in cultivated and natural settings. Our monthly meetings provide social activities and learning opportunities. As residents of the coastal community of Ocean Ridge, we are also neighbors who want to preserve the barrier island environment we share.
Our Mission
The mission of ORGC is to further the education of the members and the public in the fields of gardening, horticulture, floral design, garden-related art, civic outreach, environmental awareness, conservation of natural resources and civic beautification while instilling the love of gardening and respect to protect our natural environs.
The Ocean is Our Garden
History
Ocean Ridge Garden Club was founded in 1966 by a group of Ocean Ridge residents who had a desire to enhance & preserve the natural landscape of their Town. The founding members were instrumental in ensuring preservation of Ocean Ridge Hammock Park.
